I have just read a novel, entitled Payback written by Andy Mc Nab. It is an exciting adventure book with loads of brilliant scenes and terrifying yet extremely tense.

The book is set in the 21^st century with a boy called Danny rider and his Granddad called Alex rider. They are both running away form the law because they have been framed by a man whose name I can’t tell. It started along time ago when Alex was quite young and worked for the SAS. He was one of the finest agents ever seen. So he was sent off as an under cover agent working for a Columbian drugs group. But he was framed as one of them by the man I can’t name and since then they’ve been doing there best to survive taking on horrendous risks.

My favourite part of the whole book was when Alex and Danny were attacked . It very scary it was him there friend and Danny against the hardest agent around and four others. Danny pinned won to the ground but took gun shot wounds to his left shoulder while Alex ran to the car. This tricked the others to go after him while there friend smashed the one Danny had down killing him instantly. Danny Picked up the mp4 and shot heavy rounds at one of the front cars killing the driver. By now Alex was in the back of the truck but he was getting rapid machine gun rounds thriugh the side of the car and he had a very bad gunshot wound in his left knee. Danny and the friend were now sprinting to the truck they were so close when a Ford escort came round the corner. They were instantly under fire Danny jumped in the front of the truck but Jim the friend been shot through the neck. Down dead! Danny started the engine and drove out but they still had one on them!

To improve my writing I am going to add more puncuation and more detail. Im also going to make it longer and use alot better spelling.

Sam now took a chance and went running through the livivng room into the corridor. Then he went flying into the door. “Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!”He had tripped over the cricket that he’d left out yesterday from cricket bat. He got up again and pelted into the kitchen. He heard a noise and dived under the unit. He was sweating like mad, terrorfied!

Sam stepped into the darkness, terrified! He, very slowly, walked down the stairs there was a slight creak! He jumped, but it was only the old staircase. He was now literately jumping up and down with fright. He was now nearly at the bottom, he could make it! Then suddenly there was a bit of movement and a little growl!!

Sam hesitated at the top of the stairs, blinking sleepily in the darkness. The blackness below was absolute, there was no light at all. The light switch was out of reach, way back across the landing. There was the noise again. The rest of the house was silent. What was it?
